Here is a small sample of my work, from all aspects of my life from academia to social media to things I do just for the love of doing them.
-Links to my reviews on No Flying, No Tights: Sidekicks, Fractured Fables, Jane Eyre: The Graphic Novel, The Hound of the Baskervilles, Alison Dare series, A Christmas Carol, Scrooge and Santa
These are all graphic novels reviewed for No Flying, No Tights. I was provided free copies of the books (some official copies, some ARCs, and some paper printouts/PDFs), but not monetary compensation for my reviews.

This is my third Banned Books Week video and features librarians and library students around Ohio.
-A link to a YouTube video where I give three book talks
This video was made for my Young Adult Librarianship class book talking assignment. I wrote, filmed, and edited the video using my laptop webcam and software. I received an A on the assignment.
-A link to my Barbara Gordon Memorial Library Collection Development Policy
This Collection Development policy was a joint project for my Selection and Acquisition class. We were required to write a policy as if we were writing for a real library. The document was our final result, and we received an A.

This pathfinder gives resources for teens learning about self mutilation, for various purposes. This was created for my Young Adult Librarianship class, and I received an A.

This is my Banned Books week video from 2009.
This is a Powerpoint Presentation that I made to lead a class about using archives and oral history as research tools. The presentation included biographies of the authors of our readings for the class, definitions, class discussions, and a video oral history project to illustrate what it’s like to participate in oral history archives. To compress this for the web, I eliminated some of the slides and images and published as a PDF.
- Lake Huron Alliance Brochure Series
This is a PDF of two of three brochures to which I contributed for the Lake Huron Alliance. I researched and developed the text for the brochures and helped with some layout decisions. The PDF has lower quality images for the purpose of online publishing, but higher quality images are available upon request.
- Dioxin Location Along the Tittabawassee River Poster
This is a PDF of a poster that was made from one of my Honors Research Projects at Michigan State University. I performed the reasearch and created the maps using ArcGIS 9.1 from several data sources. The poster was then displayed in the Geography Department at Michigan State and presented to the Saginaw Department of Natural Resources.
This is an outline of an women’s adolescent health module I did in Uttar Anchal, India for a non-governmental organization (NGO). The particular area within the state is prone to adolescent marriage and motherhood that has had a detrimental effect on women’s health. The module is intended for a seven week health class held by the NGO once a week and includes journals, interactive lectures and discussions, and weekly activities and games involving health issues in the area.
- Here is a quick hand puppet I made for a Folk Tale Story Telling Workshop:
I named him Carl. He’s the troll from the Billy Goats Gruff folk tale.
